Mulch Madness!

Everybody pitches in to help. It was a great Saturday workday for planting flowers and working in gardens. Mountains of mulch were delivered to the property and able-bodied volunteers donned gloves, shovels and rakes and helped spread it around the many gardens of the 2009 Pasadena Showcase House. Amazing transformations are happening daily. Heavy construction equipment is gone, painting is just about complete and designers are moving furniture in to prepare for the program book photo shoot. Here in the Master Bedroom Sitting Room, Saxony Street Design Group www.saxonystreet.com, is just about ready for the big reveal.

The picture above was taken by California Waterscapes as they begin work on their pond installation. The backyard is being transformed into a relaxing escape that will be filled with the soothing sound of flowing water. The pond will be the perfect place to unwind with a good book or spend time feeding the koi fish. Be sure and check back soon to see more pictures as the project progresses!

Progress at the Pool

As you can see, work is underway to update and revitalize the pool at the Showcase House. This area is being designed by Arcadia Pool Construction & Design www.arcadiapools.com The finished product will include new features all around as well as surrounding garden areas. Stay tuned for further pictures as work continues.

Ticket Times

Tickets are available for House entry beginning on the quarter hour (9:00, 9:15, etc) as follows:

Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday from 9:00 am until 3:45 pm

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 am until 7:45 pm

Showcase is closed on Mondays.

Prime Time: $35 in advance / $40 at the door (subject to availability)

Saturday & Sunday: all day

Tuesday through Friday: 9:00 am - 1:45 pm

Weekday Matinee: $30 in advance / $35 at the door (subject to availability)

Tuesday through Friday: 2:00 pm - closing

Service Fees are additional; Shipping and Handling fees may apply.

We sincerely apologize that the Showcase property is not suitable as a handicap accessible or child safe venue. No infants or children under the age of 12 allowed on Showcase property.
